Hello ladies!

Well I'm about to go to the gym... for the first time in three years! (Excluding that one time I met up with you a for a hot tub dip Jessie). And I am really excited about it. I'm probably going to be really lost and really lame and by the end of it really really sweaty but, oh well! Wish me luck ...?

My weekend in Seattle was pretty swell. Saw two movies for free thanks to my sister and went out to some dive bars on capitol hill with the mitchster and took my first shot in gods knows how long. I was by far the best gift-giver this Birthday weekend and feel very proud of it. Mom made indian food for dinner and for dessert we had rich chocolate cake with heavy cream poured over it and it was soooooo good and I think my Uncle (visiting from Jersey) got pretty sloshed which isn't too surprising (he likes to take an early-evening walk around the neighborhood with his drop-kick dog, a glass of wine, and a cigar).

I've been putting up posters on campus for the Pickfords current or coming-soon film and they have been HOOKING IT UP. I've only done it twice and have accumulated eight movie passes (which the roomies used to see King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters yesterday) and a $25 gift certificate to either of the La/Fiamma eateries downtown. Definitely using it at the pizza joint because their burgers honestly kind of suck. BALLS.

It's taken me forever to track down when Gossip Girls is airing on CTV but I finally figured it out and you can bet your butt that's what I'll be doing tonight at seven pm. I've heard pretty bad things about it, but it sounds like a pretty bad/good guilty pleasure. The roomies and I have been on a rolllllin' Office kick and cannot get enough of it. Thank God Mary (or her roommate or someone she knows) has pretty much the whole series on DVD so we can all feed our fiends. I love The Office.

News on the Bellingham front: there's a fellow running for Mayor who lives in the York District. On Grant St. One block from my house. Way to represent Bellingham, man! Except I heard that he's actually not the best candidate. But I just thought you guys might get a kick out of that. Also did you guys ever see the funky new cross-walks they put in downtown? They look like Oreo cookies. Kind of.

Well that's all for now. Off to the gym!

Gym? Damn i miss the gym. I miss swimming mostly but also ESPN all the time and the glorious re-reuns of The Girls Next Door. Man WHAT a guilty pleasure that is. Hope your sweaty trip was great. Ooh i need a locker for next quarter....

Jon-Erik's album on him running kind of cracked me up.

MOvies are sooo expensive here. Like 10 euro for the effing Simpsons movie which i guess would be cool but i heard the first 20 minutes was the only good part.

I'm excited to hear how terrible Gossip Girls is! By terrible I obvi mean amazing. They have MTVitalia here and sometime I can catch some shows in ENGLISH with italian subtitles. But the picking are slim. My choices are Pimp My Ride, True Life, Next Pussycat Doll. Pret-tay bad. Except I did catch an episode of Rob and Big which made my week.

Definitely dont know anything about the funky new crosswalks. Weird. How are classes going?
