TIGHT

I have freaking forever until my next class and since I'm all caught up with on-line viewing of The Next Iron Chef and The Office I have no idea what to do with my time. One can only balance their checkbook a certain number of times.
Autumn "rented out" the Calalloo for Jordan's B-day tonight (because going to Vegas wasn't grand enough) which should be pretty fucking crazy. Only problem is I've become really accustomed to working all weekend and watching movies at night and getting a ridiculously decent amount of sleep. I guess that's not really a problem, it just means I probably won't go out tonight. Maybe I will. Fuck it. Whatever. I don't mind wandering over there once I get off work at 10:30 for a drink, but the prospect of walking home by myself in the freezing cold while everyone else goes to town is not that inviting. You guys, it is SO FUCKING COLD in Bellingham right now. Chilled to the fucking BONE 24/8. I guess it is November though, right?
The weird wale/alien sound cable tv station is available at the gym. TIGHT! Speaking of your old house Jessie (this was kind of a long shot for a segue, but whatev) I "ran into" Kurtis yesterday on the bus and I think he's going to hook me up with some fresh eggs. SUPER TIGHT! I've been drinking forties randomly at Walker/Andrews which has been really fun. It usually involves some tv watching fo sho, like the office or the next iron chef. Their house is so warm it's ridiculous. They have an awesome heater AND a fire place. TIIIIIGHT!!! Scuba, our gender neutral (don't ask) cat is really fucking cool. S/he likes to play in the toilet which isn't so cool. Jake is in NYC right now because his mamma is running a marathon on Sunday. Turns out that the US Olympic Marathon try-outs are in Central Park on Saturday. How fucking crazy is that?! How does one try out for a marathon... do they actually have to run a marathon? That would SUCK. Jake said he doesn't want to spend his whole trip in New York "watching people fucking run" though, but I think it would be kinda tight to see. Nick bought tickets to Mexico sometime in the Spring (spring break?); his British girl bought tickets too. They're so cute. Um I'm trying to update you guys on some shit but it's proving to be difficult. There isn't too much to say. Oh did you hear that Taiga is going to be in the Pacific Northwest Ballet Companys production of The Nutcracker this winter?!?! BALLER!! Mitch and I are going to go and it is going to be SOOOO AWESOME. Man what a tight little brother I have.
Allright I'm going to get a cup of tea and read up on my Thanksgiving recipes. It's going to be a good one this year. I'm going to bring a turkey to seattle from Bellingham because we're selling them at my work that are raised locally and I think that is TIGHT.
Sayonara!

Hello hello

uggghhhh

I just looked at the photos of you two on faaaacebook. The uggghhh means I am jeaalous and misssss you guys so much. Like I keep saying, it just better be fucking worth it (aka you guys need to be having a REALLY fucking awesome cultural experience in order for me to feel so lousy).

So yesterday was Halloween. Nick at first was like "I don't think I'm going to go out. I might have one beer at home. I have class at 8:30 tomorrow." Too bad for his internal thought that he decided to ingest some shrooms and go out to the bars instead. I'm getting ahead of myself. We decided to have people over, a non-party as we are calling them these days after the whole court issue. Jen Mary Andrew Walker came over and then a slew of Robins friends (who are pretty cool, they're not really the crazy ones like Jordan, Autumn, etc). I actually really wanted Sam (Kingman) to come over because I think he's cool and he's soooo nice (gave me a ride home from school a couple weeks ago, we ended up taking a detour and did some shopping, bought the same jackets, how cute) but he was a party (I mean non party) pooper. I made Walker a Halloween themed cake and we all sat around and drank and danced to Nicks crazy music (it goes from instrumental to folk to techno... that British chick really had the "house-music" influence on him) including SEVEN which was of course awesome and then at eleven we flushed everyone out (turned out the lights, locked the door, said "you don't have to go home but you cant stay he-re!" a couple times). Oh yeah and Nick ate some mushrooms, which he and Robin have been doing quite a bit lately. I came home from school the other day to find them frying on the couch. They had just gotten back from, of course, the arboretum. They took a bunch of pictures which, hilariously enough, ended up being blurry scenic shots of wet mooshy fall leaves, cigarette butts, and each others shoes/legs. It looked like a five-year old got his hands on Nicks camera. Back to last night- we went to the Shoe for a spell, Rumors for a spell (where I ran into Bell, Ray, Mo, and Steve which was weird because Bell can be really inappropriate sometimes - she told me that I didn't miss out on anything when Mitch and I didn't go to Rumors on Saturday night because, and I quote, "Sex is way better." How inappropriate is that?!?!), and then Caps for a spell, which is where Nick really started tweaking out. I remember at one point him saying in a really excited high pitched voice, with a shit-eating grin on his face, "Why did I take psychedelic drugs on Halloween!?!?!" And that was pretty much the end of the night. I don't know if he made it home but I think I saw his pants on the kitchen floor this morning.

I get paid on Monday (an estimated $380 after taxes... maybe more if I got my monthly 25-cent raise. Hell yeah!) and all I can think about is depositing that check and buying some beef stock, a bottle of wine, a hunk of lamb, some veggies, and then braising the shit outta that lamb. It's going to taste SO. FUCKING. GOOD. and it will also make the house smell RIDICULOUSLY amazing, and it might even heat the house a bit too boot. I've been reading this book about food/cooking/working in the kitchen of a fancy restaurant and my saliva has multiplied by like twenty. I drool so much. So that's why I'm really excited about getting paid.

I've decided to skip class because someones doing a presentation (lame). Instead I'm going to go home and watch American Psycho (I'm going to do Christian Bale so hard one of these days) on the couch with a shit tone of blankets (it's colder inside than it is outside) and a pot of tea. Maybe mull some wine. But FIRST I'm going to watch the Office online. See ya!

Long time

I'm writing this while watching the office online so excuse me if it's brief. Oops, commercial's over. BRB.

I'm back. Sounds like you and Abby/Warren had a blast this week. That's really awesome that you guys got to hang out. I wasn't with Robin during her Halloween festivities this weekend, but I sure got a good glimpse of her and Cody totally wasted in costume. It was pretty hilarious. Mitch came up this weekend, suprised me at work which was cheesily amazing. My slight bummed out depression comes and goes in waves so seeing him was really nice. I think tomorrow my house is going to host an in-formal Halloween gathering with spiked hot cider (or something) and then everyone is going to go out to the crazy bars.

And oh yeah, I'm a pseudo cat for Halloween ( = I don't have a tail but I have a really awesome mask). My costume, I have to say, is sexy but NOT slutty. Aka perfect.

ghjklahfjkldnsa. I have a destracting piece of something (pumpkin seed? finger nail?) wedged inbetween my two front teeth and it really hurts so... I'm going to go.
